I've been advised by email that the train from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar (K23) now departs at 11.50 instead of 8.05am. Anybody else heard this?

No, it is not true. I just checked the latest news that K23 leaves Beijing at 07:45 every Tuesday!

It still leaves from Beijing Station at 08:05 and the one depearting at 07:45 is an added one, operating from mid June to mid oct. as I know.

From July 8th, K23 departs at 11:22 from Beijing, and the one departing at 07:45 will be canceled.
