There is not restriction on the adopter's marriage status. However, he/she must provide his/her real marraige status and get the certificate attested by Chinese embassy. The adoptee is no older than 14 years old.

Although CCAA has no requirement on the adopter's age, it still says they will give priority to proceed th applications given by those people whose age is from 30 to 55. So I am afraid that you have little chance of adopting a Chinese child.
