as french citizen, can i apply chinese visa from jakarta ?

hi, i am julien, new-caledonian and french, and i am married with my indonesian wife. we wish visiting china for about one week and i know we need to apply. for me and my girlfriend, when we apply in china embassy, in how long we get it? is it automatically accepted when we provide all documents required by chinese embassy? thanks in advance

If possible, you should apply from Chinese embassy in France. If you plan to apply in Indonesia, you should provide original and photocopy of your valid certificates of residence, employment or student status, or other valid certificates of legal stay provided by the relevant authorities.
