About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

I currently have an F Visa with 2 entries into china and am confused

I arrived in Beijing on Feb 24, 2014 and went to Hong Kong May 16th. I have 2 entries and they are 90 days each. Does this mean I do NOT have anymore entries. I was told the first entry is exempt.

Hi, leaving for HK counts an exit from China, so you still have one entry left, which can be used for entry if it is valid.

The first entry is used when you visit from US to Beijing, it ends when you exit to HK. So there is still one entry left for you to enter mainland China.

You needn't because your second one is still valid. You can use your second entry to go back to China from HK.
