from yungang grottoes to the hanging temple.

Question

As I only have one day in Datong I would really like to visit the Grottoes and the Temple in one day. Could I do it? Hoe is the best way? Take into account that I'm a student,  can't afford to expend that much money in transportation. Thanks!

The grottoes are 15km or a little farther from Datong city. At Xinkaili bus stop (新开里), take local bus no. 3 to the grottoes directly, at the cost of CNY1. After that, take bus no. 3 back to Xinkaili and then spend around CNY10 to catch a taxi to Datong Railway Station. Nearby take a bus to Hunyuan County and the bus fare is CNY22 I remember. When gettiing there, transfer to a direct bus to the Hanging Temple!
