About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

Sold Octopus card &/or Airport Express Pass - do I need both?

Hi there, I am will be purchasing the airport express with 3 days of unlimited MRT because it works perfect for my 3-day stay. My question is - do I also need a "sold Octopus" card for the other things like the Cable car on Lantau, Star Ferry & various stores...or can we just add some extra cash on the Airport express Octopus card?

No, sold Octopus card is no more needed. You just need to add some cash on the airport express pass and then it can be used as an Octopus card.
