May i know how i can get the visa for that? or i need to apply in advance?

I am malaysian. but now studying in japan. i will visit to hong kong to shenzhen this month. i will stop in shenzhen for 2 days..thanks you.

Lee, you can apply for the special VOA at the border if you enter Shenzhen from HK. It allows you to stay for five days at most. But you can't go anywhere out of Shenzhen. If you didn't visit Mainland China before, I suggest you apply a L type in Japan before you go. It's difficult to acquire the VOA if you didn't go to China before. If you apply for the L type in Japan, you should apply via appointed travel agencies.

Thank you Lisa...i am Lee again...i entered hangzhou before on last year..so it should be no problem for me to get the VOA is it?in my passport..it had a china visa before..

To my knowledge, you can get it. However, it's still up to the immigration officer. They have the final say.
