Extra Documentation while Travelling

Hello,
When flying to mainland China, will we be asked to present any other documentation apart from the Visa and our Passport? Thanks in advance!

I have been to China, from North to South, seven times and have never been asked for any ID
except when I am at an airport buying a ticket or when checking into a hotel.
