What is the regulations to bring an Erhu to the USA?

I bought a erhu here in China three years ago and now I am going home to the USA. What do I need to bring with me through customs so that I do not get it taken from me?

Don't worry. It's ok for you to bring that into the USA. The customs won't take it from you.
