About:China Visa Exemption

Transit visa at airports in China required for visiting Japan

I am an Indian and visiting Hiroshima for attending a conference. My flight from India has two stopover at China, both ways. I hav a valid passport, visa for Japan and confirmed tickets for the destinations. Do I need a transit visa at Chinese airports?

Visa is not required if your stopover is China each time is no longer than 24 hours.
