getting to huixian (huixianzhen/ wetlands park) from main guilin

Question

Hi we are currently staying in there and want to visit a small town called Huixian, which has loads of rice fields and and a small village. We are currently staying in the city center, close to city sports centre (chuanshan east road) but have found very little info on this town, just it's general location but no links to how to get there or if we got a bus we would be in the correct general area to see things, can anyone help??? I've also tried to look into maybe a taxi, but in think this could end up expensive! Thanks, :)

The place you mentioned is a small town in Lingui District and it is around 30km from the city proper. Since you may have several people, you are suggested to hire a local car to Huixian. Or you can ask the hotel staff to consult the exact transportation method to Huixian (会仙镇 in Chinese). As I know, the buses to that town are available from GL General Bus Station on South Zhongshan Road in the past, but now, I am not very sure.
