About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need for visa to this transit ?

I am Eritrean nationality and I Am traveling by - Cathay pacific Airline - to United States ( New York ) with my family ( My wife has Ethiopian and tow child with Eritrean passport ), the transit will be for 5 or 6 hours.

Hi, visa is not required for a stopover less than 24 hours in China.

Dear Sir

Can I have official letter that we don't need one of transit so i can show them in case they ask me?

Sorry, I am afraid not. But most airlines are clear about visa free transit in China, so nothing is required as long as you hold valid passport and confirmed flight tickct.
