About:Jiuzhaigou Travel Tips

Hi, I am 70 & healthy and my friend 75 & healthy. We have no problem to Genting Highland & Cameron Hightland. We will go Jiuzhaigou on Sept 5 - 8. 2014.

However the travel agent over there discourage people over 70 to go up there because of its height. What is the comments of those who have been there before. Thanks

Since both of you are healthy enough and usually hike like this, it is fine to visit JZG Valley. However, many travel agents don't accept the tour reservation for people over 70 years old for sake of their safety. Though, you can choose to travel by yourself. There is much fun to enjoy.

I am 69 years old and my wife is 70 years old. We traveled there on our own last year. I recommend you fly from Chengdu to JZG and then take a taxi or use the shuttle bus service to the scenic area. Don't take the long-distance bus from Chengdu. It takes 8-9h and I heard the road condition is not so good!

Dear James,

We can arrange your tour to the fascinating valley on condition that both of you are very healthy! We still would like to remind you that you may get altitude sickness due to the high elevation. Just prepare for that! If you are interested, please feel free to send us an email at tourstravelchinaguide.com
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Kindest regards,
TravelChinaGuide
