How many days do they usually allow to stay for a tourist L?

Good day Sir.I am an expat currently working here in Oman. I am planning to go to China for a visit/ tour and also meeet with my sister. I want to ask if What are the requirements needed in applying for the visa? Thank you.

You need to prepare round-way ticket, hotel reservation, original passport, application form with photo, as well as documents showing your employment status in Oman. Generally, a single entry tourist L allowes a stay of 30 days.
