Water Monkey and Fire Rat

If a Water Monkey is in a relationship with a Fire Rat, would the elements disrupt the relationship? Or can the signs remain strongly connected?

You two may not make a perfect matche considering the element, because Chinese astrology shows that fire and water is hard to get along. Though, based on your Chinese zodiac sign, you will have a chance to lead a wonderful relationship. Just understand each other and bear each other's shortcomings. You can be strongly connected to each other.you should know that fire and water creates steam.Try out the relationship and see if it works.
