About:China Train Stations

from Shenzhen to Xiamen - Shantou or Chouzhou

I wish to travel to Xiamen by high speed train from Shenzhen to Xiamen. Thereafter to Shantou and Chouzhou. Best intercity transport arrangement?
Attraction in all 3 places - Bhuddist or Taoist temples to visit? Got 7-8 days to travel.

Get up early to catch the first train from Shenzhen North to Xiamen North.
Stay in Xaiamen for 2 -3 nights and then head to Chaozhou by long-distance bus. Stay in the city for ahout 2 days. then spend the rest of days in Shantou.
