If I don't speak Chinese should I arrange for a limo/town car to pick me up at Xiamen Airport in advance?

Actually, the signages at the airport are marked both in Chinese and English, so you can easily follow that to find the shuttle bus to the city center. Or you can take a cab directly to the downtown. I don't recommend you reserve a car pick-up service, which usually charges much more.
