double entry tourist visa problem

Hi I have double entry tourist L, I thought I will be going to HK but turns out I can't so after one month, do I have to leave china to enter again since i already have the second entry granted or I can renew my tourist L in Beijing itself? Are there agents for renewal? What documents would they ask for financial support? Thanks!

Hi, you can just exit to HK or Macao then return back again to activate the second entry. It is unnecessary to apply for any.

Hi Jane, thanks for you reply, my question was actually can I get the second entry renewed without leaving china? Someone told me I can renew the tourist visa in Beijing without leaving even if I have the second entry. Do you know if it's possible to renew it this way by applying for renewal in their office?

Yes, it is ok to apply for an extension if you really do not want to leave then back again.
