transit at kunming intl airport

I will be travelling from Bangkok to KM by air asia and then from head for lijiang by domestic airline.

1. after collecting my baggage, do I need to clear immigration at KM intl airport?

2. then go to departure floor and then check in at domestic airline counter, is that correct?
