transit at kunming intl airport

Question

I will be travelling from Bangkok to KM by air asia and then from head for lijiang by domestic airline.1. after collecting my baggage, do I need to clear immigration at KM intl airport?2. then go to departure floor and then check in at domestic airline counter, is that correct?

Yes, you need go through the immigration. After quarantine and security check, collecting your luggage and going through the immigration, head for the departure floor to catch your flight to leave.
