Planning to go during the end of June this year... Could you kindly also advice on the air pollution conditions in Taiwan?

It is hard to say, but it is during typhoon season in end June, so typhoon may happen then. Just pay close attention to the latest weather forecast. Generally, the central and west parts of Taiwan is a little badly polluted. In the rest parts, the air is ok, no terrible harm to your health.
