Taipei Airport to Taichung

How long and how much does it take from Taipei Taiyuan airport to Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Taichung by taxi? Is there any convenient option? How about the English of Local people?

I heard the taxi fare is 2,500NTD or around and it takes 1.5h or a little longer to arrive. We six rent a van for the same trip last year and spent 3,500NTD. Except taxi, there are direct buses to Taichung in the airport for your convenience.

Many locals speak good English. Don't worry!
