About:Xian Travel

Is there time to see Longmen Caves in just half a day from Xian?

Hi, will be in XA for 2 days. Day 1 already booked a guide to see the main attraction in XA.
For Day, our flight back to Beijing is @1700hrs. Do we have enough time to take a bullet train early morning to Luoyang to see Longmen Cave?? Staying at Grand Noble hotel and pls also advise direction to/from this place.
What is the cost of the train and cost of see this Caves. Thanks your advice in advance.

To be honest, time is so tight to Longmen and then back to XA to catch the flight.

For the detail train schedule, you are suggested to look for in the Train Section on this website to check.

I can provide you that the taxi duration from Luoyang Longmen Railway Station to the grottoes is around 20 mintues. The entrance fee for the grottes is around 120RMB per adult.

I suggest you can considering the taxi duration, the train schedule to check whether you can catch it or not. In my opinion, it is so tight.
