tour to Longmen Grottes

Can I buy at your website tickets for train from Beijing to Xian (Z19) on 15 June 2014 or is it to early? I was wondering if it is possible to visit Longmen Grottes in one day from Xian.Can you please give me some tips how to get there by public transport from Xian?

Dear PRZYTULA,

It's ok to submit your booking of Z19 train that starts on June 15. It's possible that you can do a one-day trip to visit Longmen Grottos. You may take G656 high speed train from Xian North to Luoyang Longmen Station. It starts at 10:02 and arrives at 11:43. Then you can take No.67 or 71 bus from the railway station to Longmen Grottos directly. The latest high speed train G2011 from Longmen to Xian North departs at 20:21. You will arrive at Xian North at 22:08 if you catch G2011.

Would you please advice me what bus goes from Luoyag Longmen Station to Shaolin and how long it goes there? And is it possible to take bus from Shaolin(from the same place-bus station? where we arrived) directly to Longmen Grottes? I received Tracking numer-is it something like ID numer for me to buy tickets by TCGuide?

Dear PRZYTULA,

There is no direct bus between Longmen Grottos and Shaolin Temple. You need to take K81 bus from Longmen Grottos to Luoyang Railway Station first and then walk around 150 meters toward east to reach the Luoyang Bus Station on the other side. There you can catch bus from Luoyang to Dengfeng. After getting there, you may take No.1 or 8 bus to reach Shaolin Temple.

If you book the train ticket on our website, you will receive a tracking number after you place an order. With this tracking number and your email address, you can check the status of your order.
