where to do shopping for women's clothes/suits and men's suits in Shanghai

l am going to attend an academic conference at SH east china university between 7 and 12 july. May l know the nearest place l can buy clothes for my family? nice ones

I think you may mean the East China Normal University? If so, the cheapest place is the Qipu Road Clothes Market.
For the place you attend the conference, do you mean the East China Normal University? If so, the distance from this university to that market is around 13km and you can use the local trains to that market easily.
From your university, you can walk to the Jinshajiang Road Station to take subway line 4 to reach Hailun Road Station and then change to subway line 10 to get to Tiantong Road Station. Get out of the station from Exit 6 and walk to the Qipu Road easily.

The taxi fare is around 4RMB.
