About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

How do retire in China with full social security and health insurance in China.

Life is suppose to be simple (sometimes). I can marry a Chinese woman, but do I really have to ? I am 65 and am quite healthy. No one can guess my age, if they try it is 45. I wrestled in college and taught electronics (in the security agency) and am a retired architect, who speaks English better than most of our presidents.
I have lived in Wuhan, Xiamen, Yiwu, Shenzhen and been to Hong Kong and Hawaii and lived in Turkey some years ago.

I am culturally insensitive to insane rules (I left the army) and am mentally well balanced, in the minds of most people. So do I get a teaching (foreign expert thing going at 65 ????) become a true 'professional student' or find that 18 the worked in the noodle house and have lots of babies (ha ha).Or disappear and get a stolen passport?

Hi, did you try to apply for a permanent residence permit? the fact is that it is difficult to retaire in China if you are not a permanent resident here. Also, if you get married with a Chinese, it is not a guarantee that you can get the permanent resident status as well. Since you have worked for so many years here, I think you can start to apply for a permanent residence permit now.

I'll be up straight with you, there is NO way to retire here without family or $300,000 investment into China.. Someday if you have too many L or M visa's you'll be kicked out "maybe", why risk it.
