taiwan jun 9 - 18 around mountainous area

Question

I will be traveling from Taichung - Cingjing - Hualien - Taipei from June 9 - 18. I understand June is Typhoon season and would like to know your early prediction if Cingjing and Hualien will be hit during that period as they are mountainous area. Appreciate your advice.

According to the materials, especially during the first and second week in June, you wouldn't be likely to meet typhoon days. Don't worry about it too much! It is hard to tell the real sutuation now, but you are advised to pay attention to the weather forecast before leaving!
