internship in beijing. Can I apply for an F? How long will I be able to stay for an F visa?

Hello I have been accepted for an unpaid internship in Beijing for 3 months. I have been sent an invitation letter and been advised to ask for an M. At the embassy in my country they told me an M cannot be issued for more than 30 days and if I'm going for an internship I need a working permit. The company in china says they dont give working permits for internships...

Hi, you should try to apply for a business F type instead. Working permit is issued to apply for work Z type, so I don't think it is possible for internship.

F can be issued with 3 months duration as I know. But the consular officers have the final say to your application.
