My Names are Raphael Muke,a zambian by nationality,I recently got accepted to pursue medicine at JL University (Norman Bethune college of Medicine). I will report for University in september but before I report I would like to find out from people who are familiar with JL university and Changchun city on certain issues like..What's the cost of living in Changchun? What's life like and how are the study conditions at JL university? What are the do's and don't's at the university and the city as well? How's the weather like? How good is the lecturing at Norman Bethune college of medicine JL University?...Please assist me with information that is you deem relevant and helpful with regards to my questions...Thanking your cooperation in advance.

Generally speaking, the cost is around 1200 to 1500RMB per month. The living and study condition is pretty nice in the university and classmates and teacher are friendly. It is very cold in winter in that city and the average temperature is around -15C and it is around 20C in summer. The biggest problem may be the climate. Besides it, no big trouble will affect your daily life. Everything will be find there, so take it easy and enjoy the studying life in the university.
