About:Hong Kong Travel

I am coming to HK Oct.4-8 and would like instructions on how to get to the ferry to go to Macau for one day.

I am from the Harbourview Hotel International HK near the Convention Centre. The turbojet is pricey for the tour so I am looking at an alternative. We are not interested in spending time at the Casino. I am considered the Big Bus Tours to see Hong Kong and area for 2 days.

Your hotel is at 4 Harbour Road?
From HK to Macau, the best direct method is to take a ferry. Besides, you need to China mainland to use the transportation on land to reach Macau. But if using the land methods, you cannot reach Macau in one day.

It is suggested to take the ferry directly. Big Bus Tours in HK is pretty nice, but traveling in Macau is suggested to do on your own.

Yes we are staying at 4 Harbour Road. What transportation should we take to get to what ferry to go to Macau. Does it cross frequently or only a few times a day? Thank you so much for your help.

MTR is recommended. You can walk from where you are to Wan Chai station to take Island Line to Sheung Wan. Then get out from exit D and you can walk to HK-Macao Ferry Terminal directly! Ferries to Macao are frequently scheduled there. Don't worry!
