hangzhou to shanghai on one day trip

hi sir!
i intend to have a day trip to shanghai on 25 may 2014 by bullet train. which station do you recommend? do i have to purchase the ticket now or when i am already in hangzhou..tqvm

you can depart from Hangzhou Railway Station and arrive at Shanghai Railway Station. i suggest that you buy the ticket now so that you have many choices. some tickets may be sold out when are in Hangzhou.
