At least, the fare is around 2500TWD to 3000TWD. It takes around two hours.
The direct shuttle bus from the airport to Taichung are very convenient, so I think you can choose to use the shuttle bus. The fare is around 240TWD. The bus takes around two hours and ten minutes.1
