About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am a american in Darwin and have all the paper work for a Visa

Have all my paper work filled out for my tourist L application, have an official letter invitation from China with Seal and stamp, along with photo.. How can I do an expedited service- I have been invited to be in Nanjiing on
the 223rd of May. Also have all the details of my itinerary

Hi, you need to apply from CVASC in Canberra. The CVASC provides express and rush service but I heard that it does not applies to US passport holders. So, better contact the Center directly for details: Call: 02 6279 7800
Anyway, regular processing takes 4 working days only. It is ok if you plan to visit on 23rd of May.

I presume you mean I can send all the necessary information to them in Canberra at The CVASC
I have no way of getting there from Darwin before I need the Visa.. I will take your advice
and call them first thing next week.. thanks so much for you help .. I was told by someone
at the University in Darwin that they express mail application requests to Canberra.. hoping that
they allow it also for me as an American..
