About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

Visa at pak china border?

I have planned a tour with 3 friends up to Pak-China Border on our own vehicle. I have heard that on border we can get short visa of china for entry and visit to nearest city or for some hours. Kindly confirm me about this. If this is true than what documents will be required and can we enter on our own vehicle to china.

Hi, I am afraid not. You are advised to apply for a China tourist L visa in advance. In my opinion, you'd better not mention Kashgar or Xinjiang in the application, otherwise expect to be called to attend an interview or even refused application. Or you can try to contact a Kashgar travel agent for assistance.
