About:China Customs Declaration

can i bring in cheese and dried meat into China?

I want to make my host their favorite meal which includes cheese and dried meat. Can I bring these items in and do I have to declare these items?

You can only bring some into China, otherwise you need to pay tax.
If you just take for your personal use, you do not need to declare it, so please do not worry.
