Date of travel before date of first entry on invitation letter

Hello!

I will be travelling to China on the 01.05.2014 with a work visa type Z (which I still don't have and will be doing with an express service on monday) but my invitation letter says the date of first entry is the 08.05.2014. Will it be a problem?
