Is travel insurance mandatory for L visa?

I am in France, nationality Bangladeshi. Planning to apply for a tourist L in china. I was living in china before for 3 years. Now I have all the documents including flight booking, just I am not clear should I bring travel insurance in the embassy? if not, I may ignore it. thank you

Hi, insurrance in China is required for application.
