About:Shangri-La Travel

Is it still worthwhile to fly to Shangri-La after the big fire in january 2014?

Is there a part off the old city left to be visited?
Will be one day enough?

I heard the old city was almost burnt, so there is not much to see there. However, if you are interested, you can visit other attractions in that area like Potatso National Park and Songzanlin Monastery.

There are other places to see such as the Meili Snow Mountain and the Yubeng area which I understand is very beautiful. I was there, last year, I really loved the place and people. So much tranquility, you will experience serene and peaceful and stress level disappeared. I would recommended to stay a few days in that region and the surrounding areas. You wont regret it.
