which is easier? trainbus from guangzhou airport to hong kong?

After visited Other city, we want to start from the baiyun airport to go to HongKong, but don't want to take the airplane. We want to either take the train or bus to Hong Kong. Can you please tell me both way so we can compare the fee, time and frequency of the schedule of both transportation. Thanks a lot. Sabina

Personally speaking, I prefer train service. Anyway, here is the infor I know:By train: you can take local subway line 3 to GZ East Railway Station to take a train to Hung Hom, HK. The train ticket fare is 195HKD per person and it takes around 2h. As for the timetable, you can search it out at the train page in this website!By bus: you can take shuttle bus line 5 to Haizhu Plaza and then walk to GZ Hotel to take a direct cross-border bus to HK. Relying on your dropping-off site, the bus fare varies from CNY90-230. Generally, the buses are scheduled at 07:15, 08:00, 09:30, 14:30, and 16:30. They ar operates by Trans-island Limousine Service!
