About:Shijiazhuang Transportation

Is it possible to take a direct train from Shjiazhuang/Zhengding airport train station to SJZ city?

The TCG site does not mention about the train station close to the airport, but alternative websites show there is a train station. Does anybody know how far is it from the aiport? I actually wanted to go as far as Taiyuan and I found somewhere that it is possible to go directly from SJZ aiport train station to Taiyuan.

Twelve trains are operated between the Zhengding Airport Railway Station and the SJZ Railway Station. But I am not sure whether you can book the tickets to take the trains for SJZ, because the trains are all from Beijing and the seats maybe limited. If you want to take it, you are suggested to book the ticket in advance.

The railway station is about 3km to the airport and there are free shuttle buses between the airport and the railway station.
From Zhengding Airport Railway Station, there are four trains to Taiyuan and the trains are D2001, G603, D2003, G609. You are suggested to book in advance to make sure you can have a good seat.
