180 X2 visa, 3 months into it I want to drop, can I stay

Hi, I have a 180 day X2, and I'm already 3 months into my stay here. But I'd like to stop going to Chinese language lessons and travel in CHina instead for 1-3 months. If I cancel my chinese class, and I haven't payed the last 3 months tuition, will they revoke my X2? If they do, can I go to Hong Kong and simply get a 60 day L?

Hi, I don't think the school is able to cancel your X2, so it is ok to stay on it until it expires. Or you can visit the local PSB for more details, or if they allows to convert X2 to L.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll go by the PSB and ask them. I haven't quit my school yet.

Hello Kris,

I have a same plan to drop my chinese classes and travel with my x2 visa. I have 6 months visa. could you please share me what did you learn about that? is it possible to do that?
