points of interest on the wat to shangril la

We plan to go from Lijiang to Tiger leaping gorge , to Shangri La and back to LJ. Can you reccomendplaces of interest on the way and arroound?

I only know the Yangtze River First Bay is along the river and it is a great place to see the sunset along the river.
