How to visit the Dehua kilns from Xiamen?

I want to visit the old kilns and museum of ceramics in Dehua. Is there a cultural tour? or do I have to rent a taxi for going there?

I am not very clear about this kind of tour.
But I suggest you travel there on your own. From XM Fanghu Long-distance Bus Station or Jimei Bus Station, you can find direct buses for Dehua. The buses at Fanghu are from 06:30 to 17:35 and at Jimei, they are from 06:45 to 17:50. Upon reaching that county, you can take a taxi or hire one to travel on your own.

Hello Christne,

I am so glad to hear you will go to Dehua, as I graduated from Dehua ceramic college , Dehua is my second hometown.

It's famous of pottery andporcelain (Ceramic).As Dehua is a small city, so not many people know this place.

From Xiamen to Dehua takes about 3 hours by bus. Xiamen Long-distance Bus Station or Jimei Bus Station both have bus to Dehua.
