About:China Embassy in Thailand

Is the visa process any tougher or more complicated for Business & Trade or just about the same as for Tourist?

The process is the same but the required docments are different. You need to prepare for the invitation letter from your Chinese partner and letter of confirmation from duly authorized Chinese unit (if required).
