What attractions do you prefer, natural scenery, cultural and historical sites, ancient towns? Anyway, you should be prepared for encountering flocks of tourists no matter where you go. It's very crowded.1

Yeah, I agree with Betty that it will be crowded everywhere during the National Week of China. Anyway, due to your demand, I suggest you go to the Badaling Great Wall in the early morning, which is good fo hiking and sightseeing! It can be reached by train, which can be taken at Beijing North Train Station near Xizhimen metro station!1
