About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Is it true that you need to include proof of travel insurance when applying for a Visa?

Is it true that you need to include proof of travel insurance, or a bank statement which proves you can cover yourself, if you are wanting a "L" or "F" category for China?

Travel insurance is not a must. So just prepare round-trip ticket and hotel bookings for application.
