About:Shaolin Temple

Distance between Longmen Caves and Shaolin Temple.

How long would it take to visit the SL temple from the Longmen caves and is this possible to do? How much would a taxi for two people cost for the return journey? We do not require a guide. Thanks. jc.

The driving time is around 70 to 80 minutes.
If you take a taxi, the taxi fare is around 600RMB for a single trip from Longmen to the temple. I heard there is direct bus between the two sites.

From Longmen, the buses leave at 10:00, 11:00, 13:30 and 14:30. I am not sure about the schedule, so it is suggested to confirm at the site itself.
