About:Special Services of Hong Kong Airport Express

Location of bus stop for H1 at Hong Kong station located, etc.

Hi!

We will arrive this Friday in HK and want to ask:
- Where is the bus stop for H1 (to HI Express Soho) at HK station located?
- How long does this trip take as the hotel is stop number 8? Or is it faster on foot?
- Is it okay to board the HK airport express without a ticket and pay the trip and buy an Octopus card at HK station?

The bus station is just inside the HK Station in Floor L2.
The exact time for this trip is hard to tell, because road condition is not so good. Generally speaking, it takes about 30 to 40 minutes. I think walking is faster, because the HK Station is about 1km to your hotel.
Unless you you book the airport express ticket online in advance, you cannot pay the trip after you reach the HK Station. If you book the ticket in advance, you need to show your confirmation when you board the airport express.

Thanks for the answers - I think we then will walk.

About boarding the train at the airport: We read that it is possible to enter the train at that station without a ticket and before leaving HongKong station you can buy an Octopus card and also pay the airport express train ticket there. Just to avoid crowds at the airport :)
