About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

less than 6 months on ARC, but had a Chinese visa last year

I am a UK citizen living in Korea. I have less than 6 months left on my ARC. However, I was living in China on a teaching visa last year, until May 2013. In this case, can I apply in Korea for a tourist L this year?
