Applying for CHinese tourist visa in Delhi (as a foreigner)

I am now in India on an employment type and I am going to travel through PRC in June. I don't live in the area of Delhi, but the CHinese Embassy in Delhi is the nearest to get to. But because of the travel to Delhi, and the process time, I need to know how long it takes for me to get a L type? so I can plan those days in Delhi before I leave for PRC. (I have a Dutch passport, working for an NGO in India on an employment type.)

Joanna, you need to apply from the CVASC branches instead of the embassy. There are three branches in India, New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. You can choose one which is close to you. It usually takes four working days. Don't remember to provide a copy of your employment resident permit when you apply for it.
