how to transit at guagzhou air port

My wife is coming from Manila to Delhi in next month from China Southern Airlines should collect her baggage and recheck-in during her transit at GZ air port , what is procedure for connecting flight?

If she uses Southern Airlines for both flights, she will not need to collect the baggages and recheck-in in the airport.

The process is: Flight Arrival, Inspection & Quarantine, Transfer Procedure and Waiting & Boarding.
